Ask any wedding photographer in September what they did this summer, and you probably won’t hear:
- I went on vacay!
- Just relaxed by the pool.
- Spent time with family and friends.
- Worked on the house.
We don’t hibernate when summer is over because of the weather, but because of all the editing we have to do from the summer wedding season. So far, I have been so honoured to witness the joining of lives of some of my beautiful friends, including Andy and Carmela Di Martino (Check out Andy at Amici Spa in Markham, he is amazing with hair!) and blushing bride Ashley and Derek.
Every detail adds a special touch and I love showing up and seeing what decor the couple has come up with… from sparkly backdrops, to cupcakes, to martini bars, and smoke machines! It is quite the show! And trust me, I am taking notes of all the things I liked or thought were super unique.
So brides, perhaps I should thank you for making my decisions easy for when my time comes!
The photos featured in this blog post of these two weddings always make me smile; I loved being a part of these life changing moments. As mentioned on my About Me page. I am not just selling photos, I am selling an experience.
I want you to look back on your wedding and when someone asks you about your photographer,
I want your reaction to be positive, remembering how much fun we had, and how happy you were with the end result.
You may hear me cheering along with the rest of your guest in your wedding video, because I am genuinely happy for you. I care about your
experience, and I go to work everyday hoping to please my clients, but also to make a friend… I want to be your photographer for all sorts of special occasions in your life, from your engagement, to your wedding, to the start of your new business, to the birth of your first child.
My camera is my way to preserve your memories, and we are going to have a great time doing it!
Book your consultation today! As I always promote, I always try to create a package personal to your wedding needs and budget. Standard pricing is featured above under Engagement and Wedding Information and Pricing. Things to consider before setting your expectations for your budget:
- how many hours will I need a crew on hand?
- how many angles would I like captured? (1 photographer vs. 2 photographers)
- will I be providing food?
- how many locations will I need the photo crew to travel to?
There is something about weddings that is almost making me a bit jealous, even though I’ve never been in a rush to tie the knot. Everyone seems so happy and so in love, it makes me wonder, what will my day be like and when? :O *wink wink*
